EDWARD BROOKOVER
Before founding Meraki Media, Ed was a Senior Advisor for President Trump’s 2016 campaign, managing the Trump delegate selection process and working with the team through the Republican National Convention. Earlier in the 2016 election cycle, Ed was the Senior Strategist and later Campaign Manager for the Dr. Ben Carson for President Campaign, which raised more money than any other candidate prior to his withdrawal. Carson was the only Republican candidate to lead President Trump in national surveys after the first primary debate in August 2015.
After the 2016 campaigns, Brookover was a Senior Partner for Avenue Strategies, an international public affairs firm. Brookover served Prime Ministers, Presidents, and Presidential candidates in Greece, Mexico, Colombia, Kazakhstan, North Macedonia,Republic of Congo, Democratic Republic of Congo, and Zimbabwe. Brookover also developed successful corporate strategies for multinational firms and major U.S. companies and organizations.
Brookover previously served as the National Political Director for campaigns for all three Republican National Committees. His hands-on campaign experience in all 50 states led Roll Call to label him a “Svengali” for Republican Members of Congress and candidates.
Brookover has been married to his wife Barbara for 39
years. They reside in Virginia. Ed is a past President of the National Association of Republican Campaign Professionals. His campaign ads have received national acclaim as well as Polie Awards for his creativity and effectiveness.
